After hours: You may leave messages for the next business day on the main voice mail, dial 100.
Dr. Taylor will be available from 8am-8pm M-F for urgent questions that cannot wait until the next business day to be addressed. Please follow the instructions on the voice message. To reach Dr. Taylor's after hours mailbox, dial 106. For Routine questions and scheduling, dial 100 for Cherie. For prescription refills or patient care issues, dial 101 for the Medical Assistant. For any billing inquiries, dial 102 for Jamie.

If your problem cannot wait until the next business day and is after 8pm, it is best you go to the ER or urgent care for evaluation; you are too ill for a quick question on the phone. Phone calls do not take the place of appointments. Phone calls are for clarifications of medication orders or other acute issues of concern. There will be a locums MD available to cover Dr Taylor’s vacations.

Business day issues vs. after hours:
*New prescriptions are not provided without an appointment, this includes antibiotics.
*Refills are only provided during business hours.
*ER and urgent care evaluation is needed for any life threatening emergency, call 911.
**Chest pain, stroke symptoms, breathing problems are some, but not all, symptoms that should be evaluated in the ER/urgent care. You delay diagnoses and treatment if you try to get this addressed in the clinic.
*Bladder infections/UTIs can be addressed on a walk-in basis. Instead of waiting, we encourage you to come in as soon as you think you may have this infection, so we can start treatment before you become more ill. Not all urinary symptoms are these simple infections, we really do need a urine sample to appropriately treat you.

Hospitalizations are still managed by the hospitalists at Harrison Medical Center.

Nursing home/rehab care is unchanged. I do not make nursing home/rehab center visits. If you will be in the nursing home/rehab for a temporary issue and can come in to the clinic within two weeks of admission, I can usually manage your care from the office. However, if you can not be transported to the clinic, or will be staying permanently in the nursing home, we will help you find a physician who can care for you there.
